    保持句意基本不变

    这是考核学生能否正确运用不同的词汇、词组、结构及句型表示相同意思的能力。这是很多学生比较害怕的一类题，往往会被“卡住”而无从下手，但观察近几年中考试题所选用的句型，一般都是些常见的、典型的句型，同学们不必多担心。但做这类题目时也要注意动词时态不能变。

    例：1).Laura spent one week finishing reading the book Harry Potter.（保持句意不变）

    It took Laura one week to finish reading the book Harry Potter.（2006年中考试题）

    2).He didn’t say anything at the meeting.（保持句意不变）

    He said nothing at the meeting.

    3).You are very kind to come and tell meall this.（保持句意不变）

    It’s very kind of you to come and tell meall this.

    4).Put on your coat,or you’ll catch a cold.（保持句意不变）

    If you don’t put on your coat,you’ll catch a cold.

    5).Nobody else in his class can speak English as fluently ashe.（保持句意不变）

    He speaks English most fluently in his  class.
